June

has been adopted!

June was found in a Tulsa parking lot. As a lady was putting groceries into her car, June jumped right in! She was shaking, skinny, and scared, but sweet as can be. The lady that found her already had three dogs of her own, and couldn’t keep her, so June was boarded at a vet’s office in Tulsa where she stayed for nearly a month while she awaited a foster family. The veterinary staff all fell in love with this tender hearted dog. But she tested positive for heartworms, and unless a foster family was found who could help her through her extensive treatment, she was scheduled to be euthanized. A day before she was to be put down, a foster family was found. June has been with this family for several months, and has undergone her heartworm treatment. Her treatment is now complete and she is a healthy dog with no residual problems. She has been spayed, given a microchip, and she is ready for a new forever home. June is a medium size 3-4 year old American Pit Bull Terrier. She tested very well with an animal behaviorist with people and other dogs. Her foster family has taught her basic obedience, and reports that she is very eager to learn new tricks. They say that it only takes once for her to learn. June is housebroken, loves to go on daily walks, and knows how to use a doggie door. She also loves to cuddle. June does not dig, or destroy things in the house. She will make someone very happy with her big heart and eagerness to please. CLICK HERE TO APPLY FOR JUNE
